Look into Desipramine.
Wilens, Timothy E. MD et al. Six-Week, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of Desipramine for Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. American Journal of Psychiatry. 153(9):1147-1153, September 1996:
"In this double-blind, 6-week, placebo-controlled trial of desipramine in adults with ADHD, treatment with desipramine at daily doses of up to 200 mg was significantly more effective than a placebo. Sixty-eight percent of desipramine-treated adults with ADHD were considered much to very much improved; none in the placebo group were so classified (p< 0.0001). Therapeutic response was noted by the second week of treatment and was sustained through the 6-week study period."
