Interesting papers – It was my understanding that high cortisol levels are thought to effect brain development and may be the cause of atypical depression. This thought along with the idea that we don’t get new neurons may need to be looked at again. It appears that we do make new neurons and that would mean that high cortisol levels could effect these new neurons and thus treatment to lower these cortisol levels could work.

I remember a P factor drug being talked about – is there any new information on it?
