"The prophylactic efficacy of vitamin E in the prevention of TD has been speculated but not demonstrated in controlled trials." (Bruce Alexander, Pharm. D)

Ambiguous sentence. (i.e., studies done, but no success with vitamin E vs. studies not done)
I can't find any evidence of studies using vitamin E to prevent TD.
If I was taking an atypical antipsychotic, I would definitely take about 1200-1600mg of E a day.
May help (I don't think it can hurt--in studies using vitamin E vs placebo to reverse TD; no difference in side effects between vitamin E and placebo).
