I am in Canada and was on it for a year. It seemed to have a much-welcomed calming effect at first for me, without the strange effects I had when trying Prozac, Serzone, or Effexor, none of which I stayed on for more than a week as I could not take the effects at the time.
That said, however, the effects of Mannerix seemed to wear off, or perhaps I should have upped the dosage. I guess I was just sort of mindlessly taking the stuff without proper monitoring. I finally stopped cold turkey last Dec. (not a wise thing to do I gather) and have not been on anything since except a new stimulant (Ritalin). My friends say I seem more myself.
Everyone is different. Perhaps my dosage should have been upped, perhaps a stimulant with it might have made the difference.
