postparon depression

My doctor just started me on celaxa yesterday. I had a baby 4 months ago and he thinks my depression is baby blues (postpardon depression) I'm confused I always thought it only last a little awhile not this long. Has anyone ever had it this long and do those pills really work for depression?? Thanks
