I was taking Prozac, Klonopin, BuSpar and occasionally Xanax when I took the drug screen for my current job. I never told anyone I was on these meds, and it never came up. I would assume that, since so many people take this stuff, it's not a flag on a drug screen. But I don't know for sure. To be safe, you may want to mention it to the lab and just ask them about it.

I would wonder if the prospective employer would be more interested in WHY you are taking it, and not hire for that reason. I can tell you if you are taking it and you try to get life insurance they want to know everything about you, and you pay thru the nose. Been there, doing that... "We" are risky business, it seems. Not fair. Do you know how much you need to be taking for it to show in a drug screen? Does the amount of time you have taken it play a part as well?
