I don't think that anyone can make any decisive conclusions about Geodon's effectiveness for anything, since it hasn't been around once. Why not give Zyprexa a try? For some people, Zyprexa is the next best thing to sliced bread. Don't let them scare you with the sedation and weight gain. Of course, not everyone gets that. I never had any weight gain or sedation on 10 mg HS.
Seroquel is a nice alternative, but it has less studies to document its effectiveness in OCD or agitation. I also took Seroquel but for sleep and had no side-effects.
