Kara,

As I've reported in other posts, Celexa has been very good for me. I was switched to it after Paxil failed, and at 40 mgs. it has now controlled my depression and anxiety very well. I'm also augmenting with 15 mg. Remeron to help with sleep, there is some minor residual tiredness but nothing that would make me consider stopping what has been a successful mode of therapy so far.

> I was put on Celexa a year ago for my first SSRI, and it did wonders for me.. after the first week, I was very social and responsive to everyone around me. Before, I could barely be in any atmosphere where there were people because I would feel tears well up. Anyhow, I continued to stay on this for a few months but the bad side was my increased tiredness. My doctor switched me to Zoloft, which wasn't a good choice.. she kept upping my dosage to see if it would have a better effect, and I ended up feeling like I was going insane. So now I'm going back to Celexa to see if things will work out well again. I'd rather be tired and happy than cranky and weird.
