Hi Rebecca-
Both Neurontin and Lamictal have anti-depressant qualities: Neurontin is (usually) more calming, Lamictal is (usually) more activating. I take both, and they are a good combo (I also take other meds as well- my whole mix has developed over 8 years of working with a good pdoc).
