Okay I love(d) Neurontin. Fantastic for anxiety/racing thoughts. I was also hoping it would help for mood stabilization.
Unfortunately I had to stop Neurontin at a very low dose (300 mg) because it made my blood pressure go up to 145/95 (normal for me is normal 120/80).
Does anyone know if this is one of those effects that might go away after a few weeks if I just persisted or raised the dose even more slowly?
I'm also taking Nardil. I know that Nardil alone isn't doing it - because I'd never had it with Nardil before, and now that I'm off Neurontin it's normal again. And it wasn't a hypertensive crisis because the rise was persistent and increased with the dose of Neurontin. But I'm thinking it might be an interaction between the two - though I've never heard of this.
Anyway if anybody has any advice or experience with this, I'd love to hear.
