I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, but there's a reason the information you get with Rx meds tells you NOT to stop taking them without consulting your doctor. Often, cold-turkey is not the best way to quit and perhaps if you had discussed this with your doc he could have recommended a better way to discontinue the meds.
> now myself and my brother's girlfriend have both been on paxil. and it's really wrong what it does to you. My brother's girlfriend has been on paxil for 2 years and the week she tried to quit she had to go to the hospital because she went into shock and was put into hospital for 10 days, the reason she tried to quit was because paxil was interfering with her ability to concentrate, and she still has problems concentrating. Now for myself, i have been on paxil for like about 2 weeks. Now the first thing I noticed is that i was feeling tired all the time and had problems focusing on my work. so i was like, anything that effects my ability to work is no good to me because i got to bring in a living for myself. so i stopped cold turkey. and let me tell it was the worst week i went in my life. having trouble sleeping, feeling nauseated all the time. and having shocks all over my body and EXTREME MOODINESS. Now its been about 2 months since i stopped. and ALL the other symptoms are gone except for me feeling MOODY. i used to never be a cranky person, but now i feel that i am easily irritable because of the medicine. I urge you do not take medicine that can damage your ability function as a human being....(DRUG COMPANIES ARE EVIL!, THEY ARE LEGAL DRUG PUSHERS WHO GET YOU ADDICTED TO THESE HORRIBLE PSYCHOLOGICAL DRUGS)
