Interested in Celexa after bad stint w/ Zoloft

Posted by Alise on November 27, 2000, at 5:42:10

I've recently just stopped taking Zoloft after experiencing a number of uncomfortable side effects, most disturbingly, a rash on the upper half of my body, after just ten days of usage (25 mg). Was wondering if anybody else has had this happen, and if Celexa proved a better alternative. From what I've researched, a rash associated with Zoloft and other SSRI's is an indication to stop taking the medication immediately...is this due to the possibility of rash being the symptom of an allergic reaction, and if so, does this mean that all SSRI's are out of the question for me? I am banking on Celexa's rep for less side-effects.
