I take 225 mg Effexor XR at 7:00 pm but find it hard to fall asleep. I also am very tired the next day and usually fall asleep if I have a meeting in the afternoon.

I think, after reading the responses to your question that I will try taking it in the morning. A pharmacist told me that you have to experiment what is best for you.
