Since this is your first AD, here is some very important advice about Serzone:

It can, for some people, cause really difficult INITIAL reactions, such as moodiness, rage, crying, loss of balance, grogginess. However, a number of people have reported these reactions disappear after the first few weeks, and that sticking it out is worth it.

I am one of those people. I am glad I stuck it out, because serzone (I take it in combo with other things) is a valuable addition to my "cocktail". The bad effects went away after 3-4 weeks.

Now, I take 300 mg. at around 6 pm. It allows me to sleep at night, which was hard because of the effexor, and counteracts other negative effects of the effexor, such as restlessness, fidgitiness, anxiety.

Good luck.
