Effexor and taste

Sorry I haven't been around here much, but been having problems with this damned registration system!! :o)
Anyway, after 2 weeks on Effexor I feel so much better already. Alert, clear headed, happier.. all in all, things are going good (and fingers crossed this isn't just and "episode"!)
Anyway, over the past couple of days, things have all tasted slightly wierd. I thought my lunch yesterday had gone bad as it stated strange, but then everything I ahve eaten or drunk recently has tasted strange. Like my whole taste buds have changed.
is this a normal side affect with Effexor (taken with Thiorizadine). It's annoyng me a bit, as things aren't actually tasting better!
