Jodie,

I have heard anywhere from 2-4 weeks for the side effects to quit. I tried to get off of Paxil once, and the side effects were so bad, that I went back on. One thing to remember, if it gets so bad that you are hallucinating and just can't take it anymore, you can always take a pill and it will stop. Obviously, you see a reason to be off of the drug though, so I would take that advice with a grain of salt. Paul made a reference to the ER, I wouldn't rule that out either, I don't think I could get off of this drug without hospital intervention. I wish you luck...please let us know how you are doing!!!
