Sher,
Hard to say for some else always, anyway, here goes.
The celexa, even at 20mg /day, has been better than the zoloft ever was, in terms of mood & side effects. It still has that damn tremor, though.
What has helped greatly with the tremor & agitation has been Inderal. 20mg 4x a day. seems to last about 6hrs. Have been trying to get to a 40mg bid dose but that slows HR more & does not quite go 12 hrs. The q6 hr dose is a pain in the rear.
It has gotten rid of most of the shakes, jitters, anxiety symptoms that I have.
The other 2 beta blockers that I have seen quite a few posts from happy users of, are Tenormin ( which can be taken 1 x a day ) & pindolol ( bid dose ).
All 3 may potentiate the anxiety blocking effects of SSRIs & benzos, with pindolol having the best pharm reasons. They all 3 treat the tremor as well. Some people report that beta blockers can fog the sensorium, but that is usually in people over 65.
It may be worthwile to consider upping the zoloft to 150 or 200 /day & adding a beta blocker ?
