Ever read Matt Groening's old comic "Life in Hell"? In that serial
there was a one-eared rabbit youngster named Bongo (one of my favorite
strips was a wonderfully Juvenalian sendup of the Family Circus where
we were asked to "Help wee little Bongo find his way home.")Anyway, bedtime for Bongo was often a period of uncomfortable
reflection where all the Big Questions an awkward pre-adolescent is
afflicted by come rampaging into his head while he lies helpless,
staring bug-eyed at the ceiling.I dunno, seems more appropriate somehow than the Gipper and his co-
star (or was it the other way around?)Clearly you were onto something.

In the best ones that I've seen the moderater would immediately eject this type of offender or at least give fair warning to debate the issue at hand in non-inflamatory language...otherwise the debate (conversation) would come to a screeching halt.
