Years ago I was honest with the pdoc's I saw.
Then I finally realized that all the pdoc's I had seen had lied to me. One example is they said
depression is due to an imbalance of nuerotramsitters. Yet on the label of every
ad ever sold it specifically states that they
are unsure of how their medications work. As
I have read studies on depression it is quite
clear their are likely many causes of depression.
I believe my type is due to an imbalance in my
endocrine system but not a problem with my thyroid.
If I see a pdoc(only when I am not able to obtain the meds i need from overseas) I tell them
what is needed to get a script. I wish it was'nt
this way and my depression had been successfully
treated on one of the first few ad's I tried. But
it has'nt been. It has forced me to do my own
investigation and see that depression is poorly
understood.
