Tom - Did the tablets change in strength, so that you can get the same effect from 1 (eg 75mg) tablet as you can from 3 (eg 25mg) tablets. If not, and your doctor did not talk with you about reducing your dose, call your doctor to ask if this is what he meant to do. (Actually, any GOOD pharmacist would have done this for you) Unless you are having problems with the drug, the dose is not usually lowered. The dose is built up to help avoid the side effects that can occur at the initiation of therapy. We all make mistakes, even doctors and pharmacists, so it is important that you check whenever you are not sure about something that has been changed with your medication regimen. Good luck and call your doc. - Cam W.
