I also have tried numerous different anti-depressants, and the one that's worked for me is definitely the Wellbutrin SR. This is an energizing, sustained release medication, and so far I have had no side effects to report. I've been taking it for over six months now with happy results. For anxiety, I take Ativan; I find it less sedating than Valium or Xanax, yet it relieves anxiety tremendously well. If insomnia becomes a problem for you, a great sleeping aid called Ambien is what I use in conjunction with another medication; however, most people respond extremely well to Ambien alone. Keep trying what's out there...research all the new as well as the old guard antidepressants. I can't stress enough the importance of continuing to try to find an antidepressant that works for you. Don't give up! Don't get discouraged. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck, and best wishes. Joanne
