These were full-body siezures that were not caused by having epilepsy. 2mgs im. of Adavan was helpful in relieving the extreme muscle tension and mixed-state pain.

I have been on Depokote for 2 years and have slowly gained around 20 pounds. During a severe manic attack lasting
about 5 months, I was down to about 100 pounds. so this is really not a fair weight for me, however, the gain is
quite disturbing to me especially in light of the fact that I also take an amphetimeine derivitive for ADD,!!!!!
It is difficult to find out a lot from some doctors, however I have a good one and one who is honest with me about
the pros and cons. So I knew that it could potentialy do this.I am wondering if the fact that Depokote has a mild stimulatory effect on the secretion of Prolactin in the body
that this could be the cause of the weight gain? This is a female sex hormone which stimulates many of the
bodily process during pregnancy, after and so forth. for example it has to do with the bodies ability to produce
milk. it seems like those durn old female hormones have an effect like this .....has anyone done any research or
reading on this?????thanks
