> Beth now WE sound alike! Sounds like our messages merged or something. I have been taking celexa about 1 week, at a tiny dose, 1/4 20 mg. tablet. I am taking it when I get up, around 3:30 pm. It is exacerbating many of the symptoms I have anyway from illness: dizziness, stopped up ears- "ocean sound" type dizziness in ears/brain which is a horrible sensation (does anyone else ever get this), off and on intense nausea, jumping out of skin sensation, worsening the cognitive dysfunction like feeling "blank", not being able to find words, processing thoughts slowly, and the fatigue. My sinuses and allergy symptoms are miserable right now; I don't know that that is related to the Celexa and i continue to take Pseudophedrine, Flonase and Saline. Even worse than the dizziness which is bad, all of a sudden my pain medication stopped working and the pain all over is barely tolerable, I almost cannot stand it. I don't know if the celexa doesn't combine well with my pain med or if changing to generic made a difference or if it just stopped working. I haven't been on it long enough to build up a tolerance. I think the celexa interfered with my sleep at first, now not as much; this is difficult to judge because my sleep disorder is severe and many variables affect my sleeping. So I think I'll give the celexa one more difficult week before making any decision, and bother my doctor yet again before my appt. time to help with the pain.
How did things turn out with your Celexa trial? Have you tried other a-d's that are less likely to cause dizziness?
