I also read your post under Zyprexa. You and I are not the only ones with this experience. I have met enough people to count on my fingers AND toes who are having trouble with their doctors. I don't know but maybe the problem lies in the fact that we who need help regarding mental health issues, need a lot more than a prescription and a "don't let the door hit you on the way out."We hope for empathy and understanding, two things I think are rare for a doctor to institute with each and every patient. The good ones are rare, but you are correct in saying the best support and info comes from those who have been through it. It's the doctors who believe "they" are the ultimate authority on this (and that pharmaceutical companies don't fudge a bit on side effects) who are the delusional ones. Delusions of grandeur = belief they are God-like?? Wonder where they fit under the DSM IV. ;-D
