I have read on here a phrase for the zaps that one feels in one's head when tapering off a med, especially an anti-depressant. But I cannot recall the correct/specific phrase that has been used for it - I know it's not "brain zaps" but that's the closest thing I could come up with related to what I'm asking about.
I'd greatly appreciate it if whoever here knows what I'm referring to could supply me with the correct/specific phrase. Thank you

Thank youI think it's called antidepressant discontinuation syndrome and also sensory disturbances..I'm not sure if the psychiatric community has formally come up with any other name for them..they aren't pleasant, that's for sure..
