Success

Posted by Angela2 on April 6, 2014, at 15:36:33

I want to be successful. To me, that means, not only having a job, but saving money to move out of my parents house. I'm 30. I'll be 31 in May. I can't believe I wasn't really serious about doing this before. But it's true. I was comfortable. I'd really like this to be a year of saving and dreaming, and by the end of the year, I'll have saved enough to move out. Maybe to do other things too, like go on a road trip. But I'm focusing on the apartment. So I have to get a job. I'm planning and brainstorming stuff in advance.

I guess that's it for now. I hope everyone is well.

I'd wish you good luck, but I think luck is only a small part of it. Keep trying. Keep posting. Ask for support. You can do it.

i think it is great to have a goal that you would like to achieve. something to motivate you...

finding a job is tough in todays job market. i don't say that to be a downer... i say that to be an upper... i mean: it IS hard. i think most people have empathy for those who haven't managed to find meaningful work these days. it ain't like 'when we were young' and only the lazy slackers didn't have meaningful employment. so to speak. sorta. times have a-changed.
