I think I am obsessed with checking my blood pressure. It doesn't help that my pdoc told me to check it!
I check it everywhere there is a pharmacy with a blood pressure machine. I check it several times in one sitting, up to 5 times. I can spend up to 20 mins on one machine at a time, resting and checking and resting again. Then an hour later I will check my blood pressure again several times.
When I am out, wherever I am, I look for a pharmacy to check my blood pressure.
Yesterday I decided to buy a blood pressure monitor even though it is expensive and I don't have a job, but already it is a huge comfort for me.
I'm checking my BP all the time now. I think I checked 16 times in 6 hours.
I hope this doesn't turn into a problem!
Is anyone else obsessed with something like this?
I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac and I think I have OCD tendencies.
This is pretty crazy, but I am even thinking of bringing my BP monitor to the library on campus so that I can check my blood pressure in-between studying.
This is the end of the thread.
