So now i will talk to my father to let me go.. let me live the live that i have chosen for myself.

Life in america.. therapy with that therapist and an simple JOB.
Good friends and a cute girlfriend.

It sounds easy but in germany its not possible for me.. im kind of turning back to the old person.. the false person. Maybe i have to start pretending again and hold the pain in order to go back. One last time in my life pretending everything is ok.

I assume that "false self" state is the prevalent state in germany. No freedom at all. Just look at WW2. Angst, hatred, authority, lack of emotions...

both symptom and cause of HORRIBLE parenthood.

Wish me luck that i get outta here.

Yeah, I don't think its like this in Germany. In Germany homosexuals can have civil unions, we don't have that in the U.S. I think Germans are much more tolerant than in WW2. They're not out murdering the Turkish minority. Also Germans are a lot more honest about how they feel and they don't show false emotions like Americans do. For example some Germans have met Americans visiting Germany and the Americans tell them "Oh you should come visit us in the U.S. sometime!" and the American goes home and forgets because they didn't mean it, but the German will call or email them about coming to stay, since they take it as a real invitation. Its the same with emotions, they only show them if they are truly there.

I will concede that Germany is more authoritative, and Germans are more likely to follow orders and their adolescent schooling is determined by the state, but maybe thats better than going to college if you aren't skilled enough or just wondering what to do with your life for 6 years.

There is even more freedom of mobility in Germany since almost every road except major highways has sidewalks, there are places where I live where there are no sidewalks and people have to walk down the road next to traffic or not walk at all.

Hunk20,

I hope you get back to California to be with people that will support you. I really can understand not having support and feeling so trapped. I am in America and feel that everyday, and hopefully someday i will get out.
