Hi all,
My life went really crazy and I stopped posting here. I'll probably disappear again as my life is still really crazy, but I wanted to update just in case anyone cared. You know how I was so worried about going back to work on March 26? Well, I didn't and they eliminated my position (basically fired me as soon as my FMLA ran out). So now I am living on savings trying to apply for disability, which is not fun. No drugs have worked, so I am still at about my same level of depression. I went through a phase where all I did with my life was play video games, and I'm glad that is over. Now, I do spend alot of time sitting and obsessing about things/everything. I like obsessing, though, it's almost like a warm blanket. I became a Christian and that has helped me. So, I am getting through. i just wanted to say hi to everyone and sorry i disappeared so abruptly. I have a tendency to do that.

Yes you did disappear after Stanford. I'm sorry about your job. But hope you do decide to stick around. Love Phillipa

hi,
sorry you're still feeling depressed
sorry the disability process is hard
are you getting yourself "out there" in the world in any gentle ways? out in the air, doing something you enjoy, whatever?

I have more social support now than I did before. I've gotten involved with NAMI and DBSA and made friends through there. I have also gotten involved with my church. So, I would say the biggest difference is that I'm isolating less and have better social support irl.
This is the end of the thread.
