Hey you guys .. this is embarrassing! It's like a surprise pc b-day party!
I just now saw this today, Friday. (Oops, I'd better get to bed.)
I guess if I don't go lookin' for mail, I won't get any .. duh! Same w/ everything in life ya' think? Yep.
I sort of 'messed up on my birthday'.
The gang was all here, there, everywhere, noisy, a lot of movement, short people crying, my mind was going every which way, until finally, and suddenly, out of my mouth came the words, "Okay you guys. Everything here feels a little bit WRONG!" I turned and went into my bedroom, locking the door behind me, stuck in my earplugs, and waited until I could hear nothing. (It was quite a while. I may have fallen asleep? When I came out of the bedroom everyone was gone.)
See .. I didn't want a party! But we're supposed to be unselfish and have a party for our children to think we are having fun, right? Well, I was feeling selfish and just really wanted to get a little 'wasted' .. just drink a little light wine! But, after celling my son to bring it more than several times, he came w/o it. I know .. I'm bad. Getting 'wasted' is a bad thing?!
Well, it's over now. I'll have to rethink this whole 'how to behave on your birthday thing' next year. (Then again, I don't think anyone would come after this one! Ha!)
Phillipa said I could quit punishing myself now, so I'm going to go ahead and stop. (Yippee! Free again!)
Oops .. I didn't tell Phillipa the whole 'get wasted' story though. She knows it now! Yikes! I might be in trouble!
