The gossip has started, and the 2 to 5 favorite is the same place I arrived at by logical analysis.
Which I'm sure is a lovely place to live. And I'm sure has many redeeming values.

Gaahh, I'm so dense.
"Never mind," as Emily Litella would say.

I'm enough ok so far. If rumor becomes fact, I might not be. I might not be at all ok.
I probably need to come up with a plan to keep myself safe if that happens.

Maybe lie down for a bit? Though it's not any more pleasant to hyperventilate while you're horizontal than when you're vertical. I'd tell you a joke if I could.

Yeah. it's the move.
I took a couple of tranqulizers, so I'm not panicking.
I'll wait to see what happens and try to stay tranqulized through the rumors.
But I'm not going. I haven't figured out how yet, but I'm not going.

Take it day by day and try to remind yourself not to live too far into the future.
I know that feels impossible sometimes. Too bad we don't have some sort of simple on/off switch on our worrying.
I wish I could offer more. This is so hard. I think I'd be reacting like you, too. Maybe you'll feel better once you get to actually talk to your T. once you have a final decision on the move.
Distraction and medication, in the meantime.

Sometimes when things have been really bad in the past for me,
I deal with it a MINUTE AT A TIME. Try to breath slowly & deeply, repeat "everything will be ok. I am SAFE".
FEAR =
Forgetting
Everything
Always

My tendency is to get obsessed with spending too much to distract myself. Wonderfully effective, but probably unwise.

Hi Dinah,
I'm glad I read this - I could use my own advice today. Not about breathing & fear, but about saying stuff to myself like, things will be ok; I'm safe; everything is ok.
I've been feeling crappy for over a week. It's an anxious, & heavily dull feeling. About 5 or 6 weeks ago I took a homeopathic 'constitutional' remedy & sometimes they stir things up. Well I feel suitably 'stirred' in a not positive way!
Oh dear. I hate this.
Hope you're feeling better! Kath

By the way - I can relate to spending too much to distract myself. I'm not doing it right now, but I can sure get into that one too!

Yeah, I'm having spenders remorse right now. All of the sudden I snap out of it and realize what I've done. I think it's returnable this time, at a loss of shipping and handling. And fortunately I reduced those credit limits.
Hope you're feeling better.

Good that you could return it!!
Guilt is a useless emotion! :-)) Or so I've heard & I like to quote that one. When you think of it - if we've done something that we feel guilty about, as I've always told my now somewhat grown-up kids,
If you make a mistake it's not wasted if you can learn something from it.
& guess what - maybe we need how ever many times to rework on that mistake!!
I'm not really feeling better yet, but the sun just came out & actually that does help a little bit.
I hope you have a good day. :-) Kath
