not. I hate it when it gets dark out so early at night. But aren't there a couple of states that don't set back the clocks? Fondly, Phillipa

Hello there, Phillipa,
I HATE this time of year! I think I dislike the lower temperatures even more than the lack of light. My joints hurt so much. My life becomes more constricted in the winter. Everything becomes a chore. Some day I will move to a warmer part of the country. Oh, you asked about those states that don't set back the clocks. Arizona is one of those states, and I believe parts of Indiana don't change the clocks.

I definitely don't like it. I have SAD and because school requires I be indoors for most of the daylight hours as they stand now, my mood plummets right about now every year. (Thank God for Wellbutrin and light therapy, though, things in that sense are mostly under control.) Not to mention it's depressing to not really see the sun for days on end. And I was thinking of going to study in Norway? I do love making sense.
I actually quite enjoy winter; it seems to me to lend a gentle (maybe that's not a word which describes our winters aptly, but oh well), quiet nature to the outside world, perfect for long, contemplative strolls... as long as I'm bundled up warm enough! Oh, and I am a coat freak, which I just can't indulge in summer.

Its horrible!!
Its dark when I get up, and dark when I get home from work.. in only a couple of weeks it will be dark when I leave too, and I *hate* walking to the tube station in the dark..

I hate it when it gets dark early too.
I find this part of the year to be more depressing.
This is the end of the thread.
