Hello!

Stumbled upon this board while searching for a long lost friend, but I can certainly relate to Bi Polar Depression. Maybe it was one of those "things" that brought me here, whether I find my friend or just make new ones!

Thanks, sleepy girl. Yours was one of the first names I noticed. I like it.

I hope this is not too personal, but you told me to not be afraid, so I'm asking. Is your name part of the name Debbie and if so, may i also ask what the n represents?

Thank you, yes, my name reflects my love of sleep, and how well I can do it sometimes

Indeed. Same here. I never realized how much I slept had so much to do with my depression. And then when I couldn't sleep much or even at all, I finally realized that's when I was in my manic phase. But that was one of the only things I did not mind about it.

It's totally ok to ask. :-)
My name used to be Shy_Girl (aka TriggerGirl...but that's a rather long story...)
Here is why I decided upon Deneb...

As you can see it has nothing to do with my real name being Debbie. :-)

Don't be afraid to jump right in. Like any new place it takes a bit of a while to adjust.

But it's worth the effort.

Pamela R. Welcome to Babble!

Hi Pamela R,

When I get depressed I can't sleep. Then again I can't sleep when I'm not depressed.

Anyway, welcome to babble. Glad you found us.
