It was really a very nice evening :). We had good food with yummy desserts (I'm sure nothing that could compare to a butter tart, though ;)) and after dinner we headed to the lounge at the top of the John Hancock building for some beverages.

The food and drinks were good, but it really was all about the company. It was so nice to meet everyone (Dr. Bob, Poet, partlycloudy, annierose, gardenergirl, Spoc, rainbowbrite, fallsfall, Dinah, and AuntieMel). So nice to be able to talk face to face and put faces with names. Hopefully, next year more will be able to attend because it was a great experience - different from any I've ever had, but at the same time it felt like getting together with a group of old friends.

:)

Does beverages mean alcoholic drinks?...Forgive my ignorance about adult matters. :-) I think it would be fun for me to drink some drinks! Maybe I'll find something that is not so yucky tasting to me and I can actually drink enough to get a little tipsy!

I bet it was a little intimidating at first right? It was like that when I went to meet my astronomy group in person. It was a little confusing...so hard to remember who was who even though I'd chatted with them online.

I will go next year! I've been meaning to have an adventure somewhere for a while now. Quick...get to know me better so we can be like "old friends" too. :-)

oh bobby that sounds so intense.
so all you can do is wait?
does it block your ability to void?

well that's a good reason to stay home.

next year there's always next year right?
Jai

Hi-

I agree, different, but good different. The conversation never lagged, and we talked about everything, not just about therapy or our therapists!! When the wait staff came over and we were talking about therapy, they must of have "hmmm, interesting conversation".

Sorry that I missed out on the John Hancock tower. I wish I felt better at that moment.

I would definitely meet again.

I'm coming next year, most definitely, if I'm alive and well. Oh, yes. This I'm not missing, again. I hope it's still important to me, then. Because I don't want to lose interest in interesting people.. I think I might be saying I don't feel depressed. It's like turning a corner and coming into bright sunlight. Mm. I love .. love, love ... give me some of what she's on. Babblers.

I wonder how your relationships with each other will change online, now. What will happen to Babble, how it will change. I feel like it's changed even in the short time I've been on.

I dont know that it will change all that much but I know what you guys mean. I think it was just really amazing to see how everyone bonded so easily in person. The comfort level was very high! It was a great experience and Im so glad I went. And it was awsome chatting and joking around with Bob :-)
Im sad to be home, and back to reality again though.
