Posted by medhed on February 7, 2005, at 18:50:10

I didn't make up this word, I heard it somewhere.
WHAT IS IT???
It sounds disgusting.
I think I may be having one now...ouch!

I think it means to phase out/zone out/ lose your place, etc. - like in the middle of a conversation.

Brain f*rt, noun; Quick-and-dirty creative output. The byproduct of a mind stuffed with food for thought that can therefore produce information without effort.

The actual result of a braino, as opposed to the mental glitch that is the braino itself. E.g. typing "dir" on a Unix box after a session with MS-DOS.

-------------------------------------------------

Brain F*rt recipe:
1 fifth Everclear
1 fifth Smirnoff Red Label Vodka
2 liters Mountain Dew
2 liters Surge
1 bottle Lemon Juice
1 pint Bacardi White Rum

Pre-chill soda, and mix slowly with other ingredients and ice in a punch bowl.

You're funny :-) I laughed when I read your post, and I really needed that - so thanks!

I think a brain f*rt is when your mind goes blank in the middle of a sentence or a conversation or you just forget something so simple. Brain f*rts obviously are a symptom of CRAFT disease (can't remember a f*ucking thing).

I wonder if there is an equivalent to Beano for the brain.

Didn't you know there's an *ss in your head? When it f*rts, like if you've had too much beans or something, your thoughts go blank for a moment, and if you're talking to someone or something, you forget what you're saying or forget the word for something. It is due to the f*rt in your head that this happens. I hope I cleared everything up for you.

Down here we use that when something totally unexpected pops out of our mouth. Usually clever or funny. Usually followed quickly by 'sorry - brain f*rt'

I hope everyone had a nice laugh. If you didn't just keep trying. My sarcastic humor.
