What brought it to mind is that what I told Noa about her job sounded awfully familiar to me, and I realized it was more or less what I said to you about your therapist.
Then I remembered that these things are often resolved by means short of separation. And it sounded like that was true of you, so I was just checking.

yes, whatever it was, I complained freely and she validated my feelings, perhaps offered some explanation, perhaps not, and eventually, despite myself, I came to see it differently, or it just became less important. That's the ideal case though-- I haven't had any luck at all with resolving workplace conflicts that way. It's a whole different game there. Part of my frustration with my job-- the interpersonal friction just never seems to improve.
Disclaimer: I didn't read all of Noa's thread so this is no comment on her situation at all.

Yes, so I am learning. GAME being the operative word! I'm finally catching on to this fact--a bit late in life, but better late than never, I guess!

Isn't it unpleasant, the type of human relationships that happen at workplaces sometimes. So confusing and not gratifying to play.
