Looks interesting, Dr. Eamy. Will try them when my brain returns, & let you know whether I really have one - thanks.

I tried doing the IQ tests. I only did the first two and did really well, much to my amazement. :) I'm too tired to go any further tonight. I guess I found out I'm smarter than I thought or I did some lucky guessing. LOL!!!! :)

Tried one as I had trouble sleeping & figured might as well try. Did the 'culture fair IQ test'. Even though I feel thick, I've been informed that I'm among the highly gifted. Wonder why I'm not feeling so. Oh well, it's a kind of nice pat on the back. I'll try some others tomorrow as it did help me feel sleepy now & I just want my soft bed.

I did the ultimate IQ test and the verbal IQ test. Had almost identical scores. I looked at the logic test and decided to go to bed instead while I was still ahead. I didn't want to jinx my luck!!! :)
Maybe another day, today I have to do my income tax return and I can't find my calculator. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angel, most computers come with calculators. You look under Programs > Accessories > Calculator. It's a nuisance not to have it in your hand, but better than nothing, if you're desperate & will stay on screen.

...seeing that's not where I keep my brains. Saves fixing my hair, putting on make-up, & putting contacts in anyway.
I was told that I was in the top 0.25% of the population so if you think I'm going to buck the trend by trying the other tests & scoring low, well...
I'm afraid I'll be told I'm in the bottom 0.25% instead. Maybe my brain does better half-asleep. (Like my French was much more understandable to others when I had a few drinks in me.)

During severe depressive episodes I am literally retarded to the point where I can't remember my address etc.
Dumb-struck.

How about me in even my 'normal' times, saying something like "...you know, that pointy thing that's used to stab food?" while I madly make downward stabbing gestures, all because I can't remember what a fork is called. I'm such a *genius* that my brain operates on so very many levels at the same time - but not well on any one level. ^_*

IsoM
Thank you! I'm glad you gave me the directions on how to find it. I'm very computer iliterate and when I'm depressed, even the simpliest things are stressful. :(

The site www.queendom.com has tests out the wazoo, of all sorts, even some for fun. Even some that are psychometrically validated for "real" use.
AND the neatest thing is that you can get an email addy there...like [email protected]. Now I think that is decidedly cool!

This place has funny tests, including the Death Test, which tells you the age at which you will die and the cause. (If you live longer than they predict, I guess you can go there and complain!)
Queendom was fun. I scored in the middle of egomania but the high end of self esteem and the average of emotional intelligence (but I probably cheated on that one, because my emotional intelligence is very low).

Just spent 20 minutes taking an iq test, only to press the final button and see that it was not found on the server. That really sucks. Like I have time to waste taking stupid tests anyway. Get me a beer.

I hear you, i cannot even remember my own phone number, or the way home from work. That is probably the worst part of being depressed. I'm taking Nardil and Wellbutrin, seems to be helping.>
