im back for the most part. my two weeks of insanity are over, and i'm starting to recouperate. things have become interesting in my life...thats what happens when you start forgetting to take your medication- i've had noticable manic highs and very depressive lows, which just scares the crap out of me. so what all did i miss?

Welcome back. I hope everything went ok with the play(s). Have you made any decisions about next year?

next year next year is rather uncertain to me. my parents immediately rejected the concept of me graduating this year. i'm half tempted to drop out just to spite them. things are a bit tense in this house right now, can you tell?

I got a genuine chuckle from your post - the "just to spite them" part. Sometimes it's hard to separate those spiteful feelings from a more rational judgment about what may actually be in your own best interest. Isn't this what probably gave birth to the whole notion of reverse psychology? (do you suppose it is part of the derivation of parental paranoia - eg. "they're doing this just to spite me?" )

Why are things to tense now? Mid-winter blahs or is there something else going on with school or them or your treatment?

Sorry for being so nosey.

Mair

i don't mind your 'nosiness' mair, i take it as someone taking an interest in me, which is quite a warm fuzzy.

right now my grades are on a roller coaster of bouncing from B's to F's. don't ask me how it works, it just happens. so they're rather upset because everytime *they* see my grades, there in the F range. Things are also tense because i was grounded for the past two weeks (i accidentally broke curfew). ive been really wanting to move out for a few months just to have breathing room, and so on and so forth. i also just lost my job.
