How long until Trazodone makes me sleep ?

Hi,

When is Trazodone supposed to make you feel sleepy ? I'm taking 50mg a night but it doesn't seem to be working and I end up having to take Lorazepam. Does it take time for the sleepiness to kick in ?

I take 50mg with a snack about an hour before I plan to go to bed. It seems to have a good effect on my sleep, even if it has been reported that I am snoring more :). A good ten hour sleep makes the day look much brighter for me.

Before I started taking Trazadone and Wellbutrin I couldn't focus at all or handle much without overloading and then spacing out, breaking down, or getting more depressed. That stuff is not as hard to manage as before. Still gets to me sometimes.
