I have had a poem running through my mind all day. It's constantly in the background, like one of those songs you can't stop singing.
It's "A Purple Cow" by Gelett Burgess
I never saw a Purple Cow,
I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one.It certainly isn't the worst thing that I've ever had running through my head. Not by a long shot. But I'm hoping that by sharing it, I can lose it.
Thanks,
Dinah

The Elephant is a dainty bird
It flutters from bough to bough
It builds its nest in a rhubarb tree
And whistles like a cow:o)
