So, I have been seeing the same Therapist for two years. I am about to do something I have never done. Actually finishing what I have started. It took 1 1/2 years for me to trust my therapist and for him to get to know me enough to really get insight into my psyche. I will go to him for as long as I can. I think we have 10 sessions left, after that insurance wont pay anymore. I speak to him every two weeks.
Mental health is a marathon, not a sprint.

I moved many times up until 2015. So, I was seeing many different psychologists. No one got to know me very well and trust couldn't develop. Now I have found my place on this earth. It really helps.

Im glad you found a therapist you like and trust. Thats hard to do and must have taken a lot of trial and error.

But most of the Candidates told me to see how i am doing after CBT. I want to do something deeper than CBT. But there are only a few people who officially treat people with psychosis experience with a more analytic approach. I finished CBT at the end of october last year and i miss talking to someone! Some things are too private for my parents or aquaintances.
