I was always leaning more towards depth psychology as opposed to cbt. However i was not in a very good state so psychologists have rejected me and said i should do cbt. Now i am much improved.
The psychologist at vocational rehab told me to give it another go. She questions the diagnosis, too.

What do you mean by depth therapist? Psycho-dynamic therapy? Psychoanalysis (which seems to me to be a total waste time)?I don't know how things are in Germany, but in the US it does take some research. Therapists just license themselves as therapists, without specifying if they do CBT, DBT or psycho-dynamic. My experience is that psychiatrists are more likely to do psychodynamic therapy (if they do therapy), while social workers are more likely to do CBT/DBT. Psychologists, I don't know - have never seen one - but I imagine they are all over the map.
I guess just call people and ask?

Do you mean lie on a couch 4-5 times a week with the therapist sitting behind you and not saying anything? Not for me. My sister tried it for a month, but found it two weird. There's a reason this has gone out of style.

To me CBT is trying to be someone you are not. "Oh im this way and its not good. Now i will try to be another way". I dont need a therapist for that.

I don't think there is. A modern type of Psychoanalysis can be helpful. The therapist will say something and I will be lying on the couch 2 times a week.

I don't care about style, I care about what helps.
