thats really cool that she endorsed your memoir. you had sent it to her?
she is a brilliant writer and very insightful. extreme in some ways too but mostly a brave writer and a pioneer in many ways.

Thanks for the kudos!

I remember your mentioning before.
It's a very sad thing to hear. She made a difference to a lot of people's lives.

(((Deerock))): Happy to autograph, LOL, LOL...Need to get a website so I can promote the book, and then get my memoir (Ghost Child to Triumph) published. My latest endorsement was Dr. Ellen Langer (psychologist at Harvard University); she has written on "mindfulness."
Thanks for the kudos! Sassy

You can figure out who Sassy is; in many of her prior posts she gives enough information about her book title and her situation that you can find her web site. I won't list it here, but just do a little searching and you will find it. I was not asking for anything that is not already public.
And clearly she is going to become public as she herself makes reference to putting up a web site.

My apologies for hijacking the thread, but thought this might clarify my "stuff.".....Hugs....www.churchabusepoetrytherapy.com is my site (not connected to my book), but my e-mail address is on the guestbook for replies.
I am working on a site for the poetry book, and eventually will get my memoir (Ghost Child to Triumph) published. yes, I have been here for a lot of years!
Thumbnail sketch: grew up abused, physically, veerbally, violent mother, no father....poverty: no phone, car, refrigerator, bathroom, and snow which came in thru a crack in the wall. Had a drunken neighbor woman hold my hand over an open fire. Joined the army right out of high school, "married" the original abuser (mother) and tried to fix the past--for 31 years...verbal and physical abuse. Voted out of a 31-year church membership (the reason for my site), won a scholarship (because of what I wrote about my life) and am back in school (age 63); recently submitted my paper: Society's Hidden "Pandemic": Verbal Abuse, Precursor to Physical Violence and a Form of Biochemical Assault and submitted it to a journal, now in review (can't believe it!).
Moderator of an abused survivor's Group. I believe we are all here to make a difference, and I have been writing to media types for 15 years; been in 2 radio stations speaking about verbal abuse, and may be invited on FOX News.
Hugs, Sassy
