Hey, Muffled,
Camp Comfort has a room ready for you. What would like for breakfast when you wake up? Would you like it served to you in bed?
We could go sit on the beach and make a sand castle. Playing with sand is fun. Or if you want to get a little exercise, we could build a river - we make a holding tank high on the beach and fill it with water and then break down the wall and let all the water run down to the lake.
Did you know that Camp Comfort has a special filter so you can't get sunburned on the beach? Pretty clever, huh?
Or we could sit in chairs, reading and have hot fudge sundaes delivered right to us. What kind of ice cream would you like?
(((Muffled)))
What else would you like to do?

I LOVE making rivers. I've made LOTS of rivers. I am very good at making rivers. And if there's a river already there, I can make dams. I can, I can!!!!
Oh Falls this is a good camp.
>
> Did you know that Camp Comfort has a special filter so you can't get sunburned on the beach? Pretty clever, huh?***LOL! NO SUNSCREEN!. This is a perfect camp.
And there's no mosquitoes either.
Y'know why there's no mosquitoes? Cuz they tie all the bad people to trees outside the fence, and put mosquito ATTRACTANT on them, and so they get all bit. So its the ultimate, cuz the bad people are protecting us!!!Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that bad to say?

I hope you have fun at camp comfort! Sounds fun to me. Building rivers and playing in the sand. My favorite is the sand, I like to dig my feet in.LadyBug

Mufflie and Falls,
I have a suggestion for an outdoor recreation program at camp comfort. It's a ropes course, in an adult-sized tree house.A cute, charming camp counselor helps you with your safety gear. Then you get to practice climbing ladders, and going down chutes, and zip lines. If you fall, it's okay, because there's a fun bouncy net under you at all times. And there are opportunities to just sit quietly on a platform and watch the bright tropical birdies squawk at each other :o)
And the best thing is that you can feel good about yourself, because when you look down, you realize that you climbed pretty high, all by yourself. The height is a little scary sometimes, but the fear gives you a rush, rather than a panic attack. And there are tall, strong trees holding you up at all times.
Muffled, you can't possibly offend the counselors and fellow campers at camp comfort. Just take care of yourself, and take it easy. You'll do just fine. (((((((Muffled)))))))

Hi Muffled,
I don't believe you've ever ripped up art work in front of my entire class or turned me down for a job I'm completely qualified for.
My T is gone until September 14, so I may be joining you at Camp Comfort. I hope it has indoor plumbing and a full service bar. Two requirements of this potential camper.

Hi, muffy. Hope you don't mind sharing a little of that ice cream with thick hot fudge sauce. Cause I love that.
Best part is, at Camp Comfort, you can eat as much as you like, and never get sick-- and never worry about calories.
ymmmm.
Ropes sound great. Maybe riding the waves, too, since you're near a good beach.

Sounds like Camp Comfort is the kind of camp that doesn't need any counselors.
I was a camp counselor for years ... but never once was I required to sit in a deck chair at the head of some 10 yr-old's bunk and say, "So, tell me about your mother..."
Anyway...

The only need for counselors is to tell us when our fresh-squeezed OJ is ready.
Also, counselors are definitely necessary to develop an innocent crush. nothing like a little innocent crush on a cute counselor with boundaries.
I suppose counselors can be given the task of contacting our IRL families and telling them when they can pick us up, or whether we need a postcard or a care package with pecan sandies, or oatmeal bars or something like that.
Counselors also provide another set of arms & can also give us hugs if we need them to. There can never be too many hugs. Counselors can call our T's and tell them when we REALLY need them, and when we WANT them. Counselors can also listen so well that they need to contact T evaporates within a few moments.
Camp Comfort has nice hypoallergenic cats to sleep by my feel on chilly nights?
I want the top bunk! Muffly, will you be one of my cabin-mates? I don't snore or talk in my sleep. I'll even share some of my junk food that I stashed in my trunk from home!

I wish I could bring my dog ... Leyna needs Camp Comfort more than me, especially if it would help her be comfortable with other non-human animals.
And she could use a day at the spa, if only for a good brushing and combing. I have no idea how Shepherds can grow hair so fast....

Not to be a wet blanket, but when I went to camp, sleep-away camp, which was once, I had an awful awful time.
Guess it wasn't Camp Comfort.
Just remembered I went another time-- for a week, to Scout Camp. Also awful.
I was an awful kid.
Poor counselors.

Little Miss Muffy, sat on a fluffy,
Eating her curds and whey;
Along came a rider, who sat down beside her,
To brighten Miss Muffy's day.

Umm, fellow campers be advised,
My cat is a "slut". She likes to crawl under the blankets and snuggle with unfamiliar people. If we have houseguests over, she always prefers them to us.It's very cute, to have a 13 pound smooshy purring warm blob at your feet, but don't be alarmed.
Her modus operandi is as follows:
As soon as she senses that humans are half-asleep, she creeps up in the vicinity of their pillows. Then she purrs really loud, right in your face and you have to lift up the edge of the blanket for her to crawl underneath.
One time we were travelling with her, and we dropped her in the hotel room, where the beds were made so tightly that they surpassed shipshape. Came back from dinner, and cat failed to greet us at the door. Lo and behold, a single purring lump, right in the middle of one of the beds, with no visible traces of how she managed to get under the covers.
For our trip to Camp Comfort, she will pass through pet screening that takes away all allergens and shedding hair for the duration of our stay. Miow!
-ll and cat.

I will be packing one cat (the others would not be happy campers) and a gekko.
The gekko will keep the camp free of crickets, so they won't keep us awake at night.
If cereal is on the breakfast menu, be warned that the cat will take her claw, latch onto your bowl and try to pull it out of your hand. Nine out of 10 times she succeeds. Drinks one lap of milk and walks away laughing, trust me, it's laughing.

Golly, I've never had any pets.
Now I'm going to have lots of first cousins to the pets I don't have. And they're all going to climb up on my bed, and try to get under the covers, and play little tricks on me with my cereal, and otherwise be the most adorable smarties!
That'll make things better, right there.
Better not do that with my ice cream and hot fudge sauce. I get protective of my hot fudge. Even if I can go get some more.
