T Had Car Trouble- Cancelled Today

Posted by Poet on July 13, 2006, at 19:15:09

She called me on my cell phone as I was sitting in the waiting area of her office. I told her that it was okay; I understand that these things happen. I do understand it, I really needed to talk to her about me being more depressed.

She sounded genuinely sorry and said I should call her if I need to talk. Problem with that is when? It's not like I can easily get a hold of her when we both can be available for 50 minutes. I'm used to my devoted 50 minutes. Geez, listen to me whine. I make her reschedule me for my hair appointments. I am going to slap myself, not a cyber one, either. What a whiner.

it's disappointing of course...
don't go slapping yourself too hard
when you don't feel so good, it's hard to wait
take care,

(((((POET)))))
I'm so sorry this happened to you~~~~
When you are all set to see her and this happens, it is a huge disapointment. It's hard to admit they are human too and have the same kinds of problems we do. I've had a simular situation a few times and it hurts even though it's not meant too. Talking on the phone just isn't the same as face to face. I don't like the phone actually. Will you see her next week? Hang in there, it will pass for you even though you might not think so right now. I wish your depression will lift for you soon.
Hugs

Ya, that could be unnerving especially since you were right in the waiting room gearing up to go in. You sound very understanding.
I laughed at your comment about rescheduling for hair appointments. Hey! It grows on therapy time - no need to feel bad about getting it cut on therapy time. :)

Hi Sleepygirl,

I will gently slap myself for whining. I suppose I can always email her. At least she'll be prepared for next week's session. Sigh.

Hi Ladybug,

I'll see her on Thursday at the usual time. I can call her and I can email her, but it's not like I'm in a crisis.

I hope my depression lifts soon- in the next five minutes would be nice, impossible, but nice.

Hi Canadagirl,

Yes, I was sitting in the waiting room, when my cell phone buzzed (being polite, I all ready had the ringer turned off.) Good thing she and I both have cell phones or I would have sat there waiting and worrying.

I have a standing appointment with my hairdresser and my T knows that gray roots take presidence over gray thoughts. So she fits me in some other time.

I'll see her Thursday at the usual time and hopefully she'll be able to let me go long if I need to.
