facing the enemy

Posted by milly on January 19, 2006, at 12:45:20

In one hour I will be entering a room that will contain the man who persecuted me and drove me to the verge of suicide and hospitalization. I will not be alone and in the room will be others who loathe and despise him for what he did to me, however I haven't asked my T if this is a good idea or not. I want to do it to say 'I survived'. If I don't post again it may mean it has all gone wrong and I've been arrested!!

Not a lot of detail, Milly, but it sounds intense and like something you feel you have to do. Sounds like a demon you must face; I hope it just makes you stronger. Please let us know that you did survive.

I don't know the history behind what happened today, I'm afraid. But I hope everything went well. Or at least well enough.

Guess what he wasn't there!! unable to be there because he was vomitting and had 'the runs'! There is a God!!!
Everyone there was very affirming, I'll expand later but must dash, at least I thought I was ready to face him even though I still have that joy to come!!
Thanks for caring

Okay, well still congratulations for being willing to face something like that. You did it once as practice, next time hopefully you'll get your closure. And we are glad you aren't in jail! : )
