It was alexandra_k's message. But I think she sent a separate message again saying that it may not be so.
And I believe, that if they want to track your online behaviour in your company, they definitely can. There are all sorts of tools and strategies available now.
So try not to over do it, and definitely do not go to adult web sites and other illegal sites from work. I think babble is acceptable, but not something with explicit adult content.

Also it is probably better to go along with what the other people in your work are doing. If everybody is browing all the time, then it probably doesn't make a difference how much time you spend in the net.
I work at a place, where everyone is on the net a lot and it is accepted practice. I try not to exceed 30 - 40 minutes per day. If your company is more conservative, you might want to stop doing so much of net activity.

Ok. I am not sure about this so someone who knows more about computers than me may be able to help...
Do a google on 'cloak' or 'cloak service' or something like that. There are free ones available so keep looking. They will explain what they are about. Basically you log onto the cloaks website and access different sites via the cloak. So with respect to a log of the sites you access my understanding is that those nosey bastards will be able to see how much time you are spending on the cloak site but not be able to see what sites you are accessing via the cloak.
But they most probably also have access to your computer which creates its own log...
That was the problem that I thought put an end to the cloak being a solution to that problem.
But then there was some stuff on social I think.. A little while back about how you delete all the records from your computer. Erasing cookies and more than that. I don't remember that stuff, sorry.
Maybe both together would be a good idea???

You can log onto Yahoo in stealth mode, you select the invisibility button. But your computer will track your internet sites so go to control panel, select internet options and delete both cookies and files. Be careful what you are deleting! Good luck!
