Every time I read about something here I think might help me and get excited only to find it's not available in the US. I just read about amisulpride and thought it might really help...
Is there anything similar that I can get in the US that will so the same? I've read of Selegiline and perhaps Ritalin. I've tried Wellbutrin in the past and found it too stimulating. Found myself getting aggressive and such.

In reply to Dopamine (without NE) enhancer avail in US?, posted by sregan on May 11, 2010, at 14:05:13
As far as I know no such thing exists in the U.S. Anything would have to be imported. I've heard someone here mention something about a pdoc helping them import amulsipride from overseas. They should bring amineptine back on the market, that way people could get a definitive answer about whether they need dopamine or not. Reboxetine would be nice if it was marketed as an add on like abilify is here along with being an antipsychotic.

They definitely should bring back amineptine, its scandalous, the people who need a dopamine boost to get their lives back are the ones who suffer, and are prevented from getting better. Does anybody have any experience of using Benztropine? I hear it has been shown to have dopamine reuptake properties.
