So, silly question but .....how do stimulants work? What do they stimulate and what neurotransmitters are they working on....

D/R has all the answers to that question. lol
I know dextroamphetimine has a positive effect on dopamine, and that some stimulants affect the prefrontal cortex of the brain, while others in different areas. i'm not the best one to discuss the technicalitiies of it all, especially not at the moment.

ok so positive effect on dopamine.... does that mean it inhibits reuptake or blocks it.... how does that compare to the atypical AP's?.....
