There were a couple people that apparently had nice fast responses to Trivastal and they don't hang out here anymore. They just disappeared. That I think is a sign they are doing well. If they were not doing well they would probably be here. Just my guess.
I am still trying Ixel. I don't know why because I can't tolerate more than 12.5mg without screwing up my ability to pee. But even at that dose it does help me in physical and mental ways. Subtle, but better than anything else I've tried in a long time. I mean, what can one expect from a lousy 12.5mg when the dose is supposed to be at least 25mg twice a day.
It is a nuisance to empty the 25mg capsule, split up the powder with a razor blade and put it into 2 gel caps. But I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't feel it was providing some benefit. Hopefully over time I can inch up the dose or maybe get brave enough to try Flomax with it. That is recommended for the urinary side effects, but I really don't want to go down that road of adding meds on top of meds again.
Slightly less fatigue. Less brain fog. Calmer. More sociable. Better sleep. Will actually thumb through a magazine instead of having no interest in it. Play guitar better. Still depressed but maybe a notch better. These are subtle benefits I get from a skimpy 12.5mg Ixel.

after enjoying minimal but enjoyable effects from trivastal, as they lessened i slowly realized that it was the trivastal and not my sinuses that was causing extreme sledge hammer headaches.
